Ties fit for Mughal ROyalty.
Sapna uses ties as a base for hand embroidery that reflects on the style and fashion of the Mughal Era. All ties are second hand - either donated or sourced in Charity shops, and hand embroidered by Sapna herself. She uses materials she picked up in India to embellish the ties, and ensures each one is unique.
All ties here are available to Rent Only.
The Mughal Tie
The tie fit for Royalty. Sapna incorporates embroidered skirt panels, embellished trims, mirror work, patches and beading to make this tie come to life.
At First, starting this tie took Sapna a few weeks. She saw the colour and was unsure of where to start. One look at fabrics that she had been given ten years ago was the inspiration she needed. The tie was born through materials that Sapna had been hoarding for years.

The Rose TIe
The Rose Tie was built out of creative collaboration. Sapna was in the studio with a dear friend, Nush. Nush was producing new music, and the sounds had inspired the direction of the tie that Sapna was embroidering. Nothing was pre-planned - it was designed with the flow of the music. The directions of the stems are all free-hand embroidered by Sapna. Featuring Swarvoski Crystals.
