Saree Scrunchie making - learn how to revive pre-existing materials

In these workshops, Participants are guided on making their own Scrunchie from donated saree materials.

If domestic sewing machines are provided by the client, then I will go through how to thread the machine and use the machine properly, and teach them how to make a scrunchie on the machine.

If domestic sewing Machines cannot be provided by the client, I teach participants how to stitch their own scrunchies using hand sewing techniques. They learn the running stitch, and learn how to use the stitch to bring a scrunchie to life.
