Fabric Flower Making - turn scrap fabrics into beautiful home decor
In this workshop, participants focus on the importance of sustainability, and learn how to turn scrap pieces of fabrics into their own fabric flowers, which they can use to decorate the house.
I teach them how to hand-stitch their own flowers, and turn donated materials into floral garlands inspired by traditional South-Asian wedding decor.
Using donated textiles means that the flowers they create are long-lasting and stop materials going to waste.
Participants leave with a deeper understanding of sustainability and a floral decoration that they can use forever.
